Op. Dr. Derya Bingöl embarked on her medical journey at Istanbul Marmara University Medical School, where she pursued her education in English, graduating in 2005. The following year, she successfully passed the Specialization Exam in Medicine (TUS) and commenced her residency in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery at Okmeydanı Training and Research Hospital in Istanbul. Over the span of six years, from 2006 to 2012, she diligently completed her residency, emerging as a specialist in her field.
In adherence to governmental obligations, Dr. Bingöl served at Ardahan State Hospital between 2012 and 2014, fulfilling her commitment to public health. Her exemplary service during this period earned her the prestigious title of "Doctor of the Year" from the Ministry of Health in 2014, recognizing her outstanding contributions.
Returning to Okmeydanı Training and Research Hospital in 2014, Dr. Bingöl resumed her role as a specialist in the Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery Clinic, where she continued to provide exceptional care to her patients. Subsequently, she expanded her professional horizons by joining WM Medical Park and Liv Hospital Group in Bursa from 2016 to 2019, further enriching her experience and expertise in the field.
Between 2019 and 2020, Dr. Bingöl served as a Plastic Surgeon and the Responsible Doctor of the International Health Tourism Department at Çevre Hospital, demonstrating her commitment to advancing healthcare services on an international scale.
Throughout her career, Dr. Bingöl has demonstrated a dedication to academic excellence and research. She has contributed significantly to the plastic surgery literature, with 21 articles published in esteemed national and international scientific medical journals. Additionally, she has authored a chapter in an internationally recognized plastic surgery book, solidifying her reputation as a respected authority in her field.
Dr. Bingöl's commitment to professional development is evident in her attainment of both the European Board of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Certification and the Turkish Board of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Certification in 2016. Furthermore, her active membership in the Turkish Society of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery since 2013 underscores her dedication to fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing within her professional community.
In 2020, Dr. Bingöl established her own clinic, DB’est Clinic, located in Nişantaşı, where she continues to provide exceptional care and personalized treatment to her patients, embodying her unwavering commitment to excellence in plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery.
